Season 3 with a focus on Faith Formation Kicks off August 11!

Michelle and Cliff talk with Dan Davis of Animate Mentoring about having conversations about identity with our young people.

Cliff and Michelle discuss the very difficult topic of talking with the young people in our lives about mental health and suicide with Tandra Rutledge from Soul Shop Movement. 

Michelle and Cliff talk with Rodger Nishioka, head of staff at Village Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Rodger is an author and was previously the Benton Family Associate Professor of Christian Education at Columbia Theological Seminary.

Michelle and Cliff talk with Melissa Wear a Principal Consultant at Public Square Strategies working on international issues about how to discuss politics around tables, even the ones that might be a little contentious.They also talk with Christina Cosby from the Office of Public Witness with some practical tips for conversation with our kids. 

Michelle Thomas Bush and Cliff Haddox are joined by Nicole Doyley, to discuss mixed race parenting in nurturing a positive race identity. Nicole has worked in church ministry almost 25 years and has authored 3 books and published numerous articles in the Huffington Post and The Witness: a Black Christian Collective. Nicole will be releasing a new book in the Spring: A Parent's Guide to Fostering Identity with Mixed Race Children. She also hosts her own podcast "Let's Talk: Conversations on Race with Nicole Doyley"

Michelle and Cliff are joined by the Head of the Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte North Carolina to talk about some of the hard conversations out young people are having and how we can be a part of them.
